Thanks to my friend, Angel81 for the following article from Duluth News Tribune(.com) Article URL: http://www.duluthnewstribune.com/event/article/id/129182/ Published September 02 2009 Recent news tells us of yet another gang, known to be armed and ruthless, moving freely among the people, easily recognized by its members’ distinctive clothing and emblems. They readily intimidate the uninitiated citizens among them, communicating with secret hand signs if needed. They accost their victims and take from them whatever they want, often appropriating it for their own use. They are a law unto themselves, and above it. Their members are recruited from other related but subordinate organizations. They have willingly endangered unsuspecting citizens while plying their secretive business. Now, at last, the Minnesota Gang Task Force has been permanently shut down by the government (“Review: Gang-fighting officers took TVs, jewelry,” Aug. 21). Unrepentant, this gang continued to shred incriminating documents and evidence, even as authorities clamped down. These former protectors of the people have committed crimes far greater than any deed attributed to any motorcycle club, betraying their solemn oath to serve and protect, hiding behind their badges to arrogantly steal and intimidate. It is doubtful any of these criminals or their leaders will be promptly punished or made to forfeit any of their ill-gotten gains. Thomas V. Koehler
